Retail Store Associate
Essential Duties:
· Focusing on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact and offering help locating additional items, when needed
· Embracing and promoting new collections, launches, and loyalty program
· Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively identifying and resolving potential service issues
· Offer and make complimentary cappuccinos. Clean espresso machine as assigned
· Accurately perform cashier duties - handling cash, checks and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures
· Assisting in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor
· Collaborating with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times
· Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information and completing inventory management tasks as directed by store manager
· Supporting opening and closing store activities, when needed
· Learn the production techniques of our jewelry and be able to lead tours to small groups
Job Requirements:
· Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds
· Able to bend and stretch to place and retrieve products and signs on the highest and lowest shelves
· Proactive about keeping store stocked and merchandised well
· Capable of climbing up and down a ladder to reach merchandise
· Able to stand and walk for long periods of time
· Keep a clean and safe workplace at all times
· Learn point of sale computer skills
· Contribute to a positive and friendly store atmosphere
· Communicate customer feedback
· Work flexible schedule (weekends and holidays)
· Present a fashion-forward, professional image and attire
Compensation depends on experience.
Job Types: Part-time
Salary: $16 - $18 per hour
Schedule:
· 4 - 8 hour shifts (Tue - Sat), occasional overtime
· Holidays
· Weekend availability
