San Francisco Examiner June 2011

It all started in Arcata California, in a single car garage with a passion to make jewelry built on craft, innovation, creativity and bold color. Holly Hosterman and Paul “Yashi” Lubitz were just out of college in l981 when they teamed up and began making niobium jewelry. Inspired by northern California’s beautiful red- wood coastline, they designed and created col- orful jewelry, known as HOLLY YASHI “Jewelry As Art.” Today Holly Yashi makes jewelry that is still handcrafted in small, high quality batches, one piece at a time, right here in the USA...and always will be. Their design studio grew from a single car garage to 15,000 sq. feet and this year they celebrate 30 years in business.

The flagship gift store is located in their design studio in Arcata, where you can see artisans handcrafting jewelry and discover Holly Yashi’s newest styles, one-of-a-kind pieces and the most complete selection of Holly Yashi Jewelry available anywhere!

The north coast of California still inspires Holly Yashi’s award winning designs, so come visit, see it made, and see why the Holly Yashi jewelry company loves to work and live here.
